And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

 

The beginnings of Jersey One!  Established January 2026.

 

Since the beginning of 2025, Shore Life Church, New Hope Fellowship and Ark & Altar began meeting for a monthly pastor's prayer gathering on the first Thursday of every month. This began after the close of a movement led by Shawn and Glennys Hyland to gather local pastors. As we began meeting together, breaking bread together, and crying out for our region, God brought over 10 churches together for a Pentecost Conference in June led by Alive Again Alliance to continue to bring ONENESS to the Body.

After that, Shore Life continued to fan the flames all summer and beyond (still happening) by hosting Wild Wednesdays and inviting in all the regional pastors involved in the monthly pastor's prayer, plus others, to preach & have fellowship together to grow in fellowship as ONE CHURCH IN THE AREA!

Then, Grace & Peace held a unity service during the 10 Days of Awe further strengthening the movement. ​​CRC then took the baton and invited Benjamin Dietrich in once again to unite the churches in the region. ​​New Hope Fellowship then invited Bishop Joseph Mattera in for 2 days to preach on Kingdom Cohesion & Advancement, in hopes of equipping the leaders to facilitate a lasting movement. ​ARK & ALTAR hosted Benjamin Dietrich to facilitate a leadership meeting and asked leaders from the churches, especially in the prayer movement, to attend.

So, we began to ask questions like, what would it look like for churches in a region to no longer see each other as competition, but rather collaboration where we humbly submit our personal desires for the greater cause of advancing the kingdom and seeing Jesus glorified???
